Hello, my name is Fenni and I work in the Nutrition, Metabolism and Genomics lab. It is a group within the Human Nutrition division.
My research project aims to investigate the effects of dietary intervention on ageing process. We carried out 4 types of dietary intervention in an animal study and we analysed the changes in phenotypic and molecular level at 4 different time points (adult, middle-age, old and very old). We had a cohort of 150 mice and so far have analysed at least 20 phenotype measurements. We also have performed microarray analysis that generated expression values of 20k genes for each animal. With the huge and still growing amount of data I would especially like to learn how to organise data in an effective and user-friendly way, and also to manage versions and back-ups.
